SUBMITTING A PANEL

All researchers working on the history of the countryside are invited to submit panel proposals. A panel should focus on a specific topic and include participants from at least two countries. Panel proposals will be assessed by the Academic Research Committee (comité scientifique) which will accept or refuse them, or suggest modifications. Organisers will be advised of other paper proposals that may relate to their panels. Double sessions on a particular topic are possible, but triple sessions are not.
Each session will last two hours and include four papers. Sessions will be led by a chair and a discussant. The presentation of new research and of work in progress is particularly relevant. Participants may not propose more than two papers during the conference.
A session proposal should include a title, the full name and affiliation of the organiser or co-organiser, and a short abstract (up to 500 words) introducing the topic, its scope, themes and approach, and the names and affiliations of at least two of the proposed panel contributors; a draft call for papers may also be included.
The deadline for panel proposals is 15 October 2018.

After the success of the Call for Panels (more of one hundred proposals from 37 countries around the world), the EURHO will launch the Call for papers, which will be opened from 5 December 2018 to 1 February 2019.
All researchers working on the history of the countryside are invited to submit their paper choosing one of the accepted panel proposals.
A paper must include a title, the full name and affiliation of author and co-author (s), and a short abstract (up to 400 words) introducing the topic, its scope and approach. Participants are asked to limit themselves to the presentation of a maximum of two papers in different panels.
Each session will last two hours and include four papers. Sessions will be led by a chair and a discussant.

The early bird registration fee is 200 EUR, including the following:
Two separate guided tours (organised simultaneously) on the 12th of September in the historical centre of Cluj, with a limited number of participants
Attending an event at the Cluj Ethnographic Park on the 13th of September
Welcome dinner on the 11th of September
Goodbye Lunch on the 14th of September
We kindly ask everyone to also select the options with the 0.00 EUR prices, to see the number of interested participants at the gratuitous events!
You can also register to 2 paid, afternoon excursions on the 12th of September, happening simultaneously in Rimetea/Bonțida+Răscruci with a limited number of participants.

Update: an additional details field was added on the registration/payment interface, as an option to describe the potential funding of the registration and travel costs- with a limit of maximum 300 characters
The the payment will proceed through the system of Banca Transilvania and the confirmation document will be issued by Babes-Bolyai University.
For late registrants, registering after the 1st of June, the late registration fee is 250 EUR.
